This year’s annual Morgan meeting saw the Morgan Motor Company in the driver’s seat for organisation. ‘Run for the Hills’ was the name, 26th and 27th August was the date and the Three Counties Showground was the location. 1,500 Morgans from around the world descended on Malvern for, quite possibly, the biggest home coming in history!
We’ve all heard of January blues but I don’t think it’s something we suffer from here in Hallingbury. Only four days into the new year and we had a great date in the diary: a transporter delivery was beckoning with almost a full hand of Morgans.
The year 2016 marked a very special time in the Rutter history book; the 40 year anniversary of the business. Quite an occasion to mark when you think it all started in Melvyn’s late mother’s home in Wanstead, with Morgan parts and spares stacked up high in the hallway with his office in the family dining room.
